Delivery & No-Fit Policies

1. Inside Delivery & assembly includes assembly and set-up of furniture, as well as removal of product packaging material, this service is only available in NY, NJ and some PA areas within 150 miles radius from Edison NJ. For any other state, please give us a call to get a quote for other shipping options.

2.Curbside Delivery does not include assembly or set-up. Product will be delivered to the nearest ground level entrance of your residence or apartment building. Product will be left in the original packaging.

3.All orders must be paid in full at the store or have approved financing for the balance.

4.Customer must agree to a delivery date occurring within 3 weeks after the product's arrival at our warehouse.

5.Customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery information on the sales order is correct.

6.All items refused at time of delivery due to reason other than product defect/damage, or product is in nonconformity with product description set forth in the sales contract will be subject to 25% restocking fee and all remaining payments will become store credit.

7.Customers are responsible for all measurements & ensuring the furniture will fit into the delivery destination. This includes ensuring the product can maneuver through any elevators, entrance ways, corners, hallways, stairways, etc.  If a product refused at time of delivery due to no fitting in the delivery destination, there will be a 25% restocking fee & all remaining payments will become store credit. Customers are still responsible for the full delivery charge even if the item does not fit into the delivery destination.

8.Deliveries begin around 10 a.m. and are continuous throughout the day. Customers are responsible to be available the entire day of scheduled delivery. Customers already scheduled for delivery will be called the evening prior their delivery date & will be provided an estimated two to three-hour delivery window of when their product will be delivered. Customers with a given delivery appointment schedule needing to reschedule delivery must give a minimum of 48 hours notice or will be subject to an additional delivery fee & a 25% restocking fee.

9.Customers are responsible for preparation of the room the furniture is being delivered into (as in, have area where furniture is to be installed empty and clear of any other furniture) as well as clearing all passage ways to the room. Failure to have the place empty and clear will result in a delivery reschedule for a different date as well as re-delivery fees.

10.Physical damage to product / property of delivery address  must be reported at the time of delivery & noted on the delivery receipt.

11.Delivery drivers and staff do not move, remove, or rearrange existing or newly delivery furniture. Customers are required to pay an additional fee of $40.00 to the delivery drivers and staff if additional delivery services are required (such as, hoisting furniture above ground level through a door/window, door or window removals, etc.).  All deliveries to the 3rd floor or above when no elevator is available are charge charge an additional $30.00 per room per floor & this added delivery fee is payable directly to the drivers in form of cash only.

12.The customer must be the person receiving delivery or they may choose a representative so long as this representative is of age 18 or older. Customers or they assigned representative may be required to sign a delivery release form upon delivery of their merchandise noting product condition.

13.If product received is defective / damaged, the customer can choose to accept the product & receive service on the product or the customer can refuse the product. If product is refuse, the customer must wait for another item to be delivered if product can be delivered within the time frame quoted. If not, the customer can opt for a full refund on the product refused product.

14.In certain circumstances, a customer may be required to inspect product at Home Elegance Furniture Warehouse prior to delivery.

15. We only deliver to USA contiguous states. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or military APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico.
