Terms and Conditions


1. All orders must be paid in full and will be process within 72 hours of purchase date.
2. Special orders are customized and therefore are not returnable, cancelable, exchangeable or refundable unless product is defective per manufacturer specifications or is in non-conformity with the product description set forth in the sales contract.
3. Floor models are sold as is condition with no exchanges or refunds available.
4. All orders changes/cancellations; payments/refunds; deliveries/pick-ups must be coordinated with the Home Elegance Furniture Store.
5. Order changes can only be made within 48 hours of original purchase date and must be made at the store by the person whose name appears on the order.
6. Clerical & mathematical errors/omissions are subject to correction.
7. Returned checks will incur a $30 service charge.

1. We accept all major credit cards.
2. Checks need 10 business days to clear.
3. All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery.

1. All sales are final after 72 hours from the date the order is placed with exceptions to orders where product has manufacturer defects or product is in nonconformity with the product description set forth in the sales contract.  In these instances, the customer may choose to cancel/return their order for full refund.
2. All payments are only refundable within 72 hours from the date the order is placed with exception to orders with manufacturer defects or product is in nonconformity with the product description set forth in the sales contract.  After 72 hours, all payments remain as store credit only.
3. Refunds, if applicable, will be issued to the person whose name appears on the order and will only be available in the form of the original payment method, with exception of cash or check.  All cash or check order payments will be refunded via company check only.  Company checks may take up to 14 days to process from the date of cancellation order.  Original order receipt & proof of identification are required to be presented before any refund can be issued.
4. Order cancellations must be made at the store by the person whose name appears on the order.
5. In case of a cancellation we will contact the manufacturer and make all necessary arrangements, we do not guarantee that orders will be cancel after they have been processed or shipped by the manufacturer.
6. Once an item has been shipped in good condition by either Home Elegance Furniture or the manufacturer and you wish to cancel and return, the terms or our Returns policy will take effect.

1. We will honor pricing on currently advertised sales/promotion by issuing  a store credit for the difference or, at the store discretion, we will beat legitimate currently advertised prices from the competition by issuing a store credit for the difference only if within 30 days of delivery you find the same brand and model advertised at a lower price by a local competitor, plus an additional 5%. Proof on competitor's advertised prices is required in order to process store credit. This does not apply to the following: Clearance, Floor Sample, or Special Orders, certain Sales/Promotions as stated within the event disclaimer & any sale in which we are beating the price of competition.

1. If the order has been delivered in good condition but you do not want to keep it for any reason you have 3 days after the delivery date to declare it. However, the full amount of you order less all deliveries charges and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the purchase price. All remaining balance will become store credit. No refunds available.
2. Furniture that you will be returning will be accepted whether assembled or not, as long as the items being returned are in good condition; otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse return. If the product has a manufacturer defect, then the terms for our Refund and Order Cancellation Policies will take effect.
3. Additionally, certain products cannot be returned because of manufacturer policies, if you have any questions about whether a product can be returned, please call us at 732-777-1100

1. Premier Delivery includes assembly and set-up of furniture as well as removal of product packing material.
2. All orders must be paid in full at the store or have approved financing for the balance.
3. Customer must agree to a delivery date occurring within 3 weeks after the product's arrival at our warehouse.
4. Customer is responsible for ensuring the delivery information on the sales order is correct.
5. All items refused at time of delivery due to reason other than product defect/damage, or product is in nonconformity with product description set forth in the sales contract will be subject to 25% restocking fee and all remaining payments will become store credit.
6. Customers are responsible for all measurements & ensuring the furniture will fit into the delivery destination. This includes ensuring the product can maneuver through any elevators, entrance ways, corners, hallways, stairways, etc.  If a product refused at time of delivery due to no fitting in the delivery destination, there will be a 25% restocking fee & all remaining payments will become store credit. Customers are still responsible for the full delivery charge even if the item does not fit into the delivery destination.
7. Deliveries begin around 11 a.m. and are continuous throughout the day. Customers are responsible to available the entire day of schedule delivery. Customers already schedule for delivery will be called the evening prior their delivery date & will be provided an estimated two to three-hour delivery window of when their product will be delivered. Customers with a given delivery appointment schedule needing to reschedule delivery must give a minimum of 48 hours notice or will be subject to an additional delivery fee & a 25% restocking fee.
8. Customers are responsible for preparation of the room the furniture is being delivered into (as in, have area where furniture is to be installed empty and clear of any other furniture) as well as clearing all passage ways to the room. Failure to have the place empty and clear will result in a delivery reschedule for a different date as well as re-delivery fees.
9. Physical damage to product/property of delivery address  must be reported at the time of delivery & noted on the delivery receipt.
10. Delivery drivers and staff do not move, remove, or rearrange existing or newly delivery furniture. Customers are required to pay an additional fee of $40.00 to the delivery drivers and staff if additional delivery services are required(such as, hoisting furniture above ground level through a door/window, door or window removals, etc.).  All deliveries to the 3rd floor or above when no elevator is available are charge charge an additional $20.00 per room per floor & this added delivery fee is payable directly to the drivers in form of cash only.
11. The customer must be the person receiving delivery or they may choose a representative so long as this representative is of age 18 or older. Customers or they assigned representative may be required to sign a delivery release form upon delivery of their merchandise noting product condition.
12. If product received is defective / damaged, the customer can choose to accept the product & receive service on the product or the customer can refuse the product. If product is refuse, the customer must wait for another item to be delivered if product can be delivered within the time frame quoted. If not, the customer can opt for a full refund on the product refused product.
13. In certain circumstances, a customer may be required to inspect product at Home Elegance Furniture Warehouse prior to delivery.
14. We only deliver to USA contiguous states. We do not ship to P.O. boxes or military APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico.

1. In extremely rare cases, accidents damaging your ordered items may occur; therefore we do ask our customers to throughly inspect the merchandise at the time of arrival.
2. Customer is also asked to photograph the damages, call us when this occurs and e-mail the photographs of damages immediately.
3. If the damages are not promptly and fully noted and reported within 5 days of the occurrence, we might not be able to assist customer with later claims.
4. We reserve the right to repair furniture in customer's home or accept return for repair and/or replacement.
5. Regretfully, we can only authorize full refund in the rare event when we are unable to repair or replace the item.
6. We also expect our customers to accept or arrange delivery appointment for any repairs or replacement furniture to complete the order process.

1. Our plan includes no set up fees.
2. 10% down payment required at time of order.
3. We guarantee to hold the price of your furniture for 90 days from the date of initial payment, excluding floor samples and close-outs.
4. Costumer must make a payment of at least 10% of the balance biweekly.
5. When paid in full, orders ship usually within 15 calendar days of arrival at warehouse.
6. If customer is picking up, notify at least 2 weeks before picking up order. If order is to be delivered, please notify 3 weeks in advance and advise us of any changes to address or telephone numbers. Although we ask for 3 weeks notice, we typically get your furniture much faster.
7. After the 90 days are up, layaway will be expired and any payments made on it will remain store credit only. The amount of the given deposit less 5% cancellation fee of the purchase price will be refunded to customer if layaway is cancelled.

1. All products sold by Home Elegance Furniture are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. If you have purchased a product form Home Elegance Furniture and find it to be defective, please contact us at 732-777-1100 for assistance in processing your claim. All the furniture that we sell is brand new and carries the manufacturer's limited warranty. Limited warranty does not cover wear and tear. Most of the items are covered for a minimum of one year against manufacturer defects. Some pieces may be covered by other extended warranties that may increase the warranty period.
2. All products will be repaired or replaced according to the manufacturer's provisions.
3. For warranty or service work within our standard delivery zone, standard pickup or delivery charges will be waived within the first 30 days from the date of purchase, but thereafter will be at the customer's expense.
